Happy holidays! Wishing you a holiday season filled with cozy moments and cherished memories 🥳 Thank you for trusting Salestio to help your business and for sharing the feedback that helped shape these updates throughout the year!
Today, we want to share a recap of the improvements to the app in the last year.
We keep working to make eBay, eBay Import, and Amazon modules compatible with PrestaShop 9. Additionally, we removed the deprecated webhooks and subscribed to the updated ones that appeared after PrestaShop 8 was released. The eBay module is ready in the beta version. Message our team at prestabay@involic.com to get early access.
For the Amazon module, the functionality to create new Amazon products is in progress. This set of features is only necessary for sellers who need to create brand-new product listings. For items that already exist in the Amazon catalog, the module will continue working without changes.
Previously, this feature was available in the Amazon module, but a series of changes from Amazon made the old Creation Profiles outdated. The team is working on full support of product creation in the near future.
Below are the key improvements and fixes to our PrestaShop modules added during the last year.
eBay module changes:
Fixed invalid cron token for multi-store.
Added a new option: INVEBAY_FORCE_TAX_UPDATE to force re-calculate PrestaShop order tax after every eBay order update. Set to 1 to recalculate tax.
Migrate to hookActionUpdateQuantity for PS 8+.
Added PHP 8.2 support.
Fix for possible error: "The hook "updateQuantity" is deprecated, please use "actionUpdateQuantity" instead in module "prestabay"".
Fix calculation for total_paid_tax_excl value for imported orders.
Fixed Handling of Quick and Full Revise from the Selling List view.
Return back a quick filter to Selling List view (Filter by Status).
Fixed the Global product Search.
Amazon module changes:
Fixed invoice creation for the imported orders.
Fixes to fetching data to the Selling List. Resolved error with the loader when clicking Edit on the Selling List.
Thank you for trusting us as your e-commerce helper this year. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and continued success in the next year! Stay tuned for more updates in 2026.
Salestio Team is here with another portion of updates inside the app. If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can improve, send us an email to support@salest.io or submit your ideas to our roadmap.
Expanded metafields support for Etsy Creation profiles
It is now possible to select data from Shopify metafields in most sections of the Etsy Creation Profiles. The general fields (like product Type, "Who made it", Materials, etc.) can now dynamically fetch product information from the Shopify page based on the selected metafield.
Update your Creation Profile to use the new possibilities:
Optimized Salestio logs
Normally, Salestio cleans up log entries older than 30 days. To improve transparency and help sellers troubleshoot the issues, some of the critical logs will remain for up to 90 days. The following categories will stay up for an extended period of time:
Logs related to order fulfillment and importing (success or errors)
Products added or removed from a Selling List
Quantity and Price updates
Implemented custom requests
We implemented some optional features that you can enable for your store by reaching out to the support team at support@salest.io
Convert ZIP+4 in customer addresses to 5-digit ZIP codes
Add a tag to imported Amazon orders in Shopify to identify FBA/FBM orders
Validate Amazon orders for customer and shipping info (in case some of it is missing)
Other improvements
Support for the recently introduced expanded variation limit in Shopify (over 100)
Amazon Creation Profiles - extra bullet points are now initially hidden
Improved performance for scanning bundle updates from Shopify
Improved the display of Japanese addresses on imported Amazon orders
The Product Import app is getting regular updates. In future updates, we are working on adding Amazon support. Check out Product Import on the Shopify App Store:
As we mentioned earlier, the team is working on the new Selling Products view — an alternative way to see all products and marketplaces in one view. To learn more about how it works, check out the documentation article. If you want to be among the first users to try the new feature, please feel free to message the team at support@salest.io

Improved logs in Salestio Order view
Logs in the order view have been expanded with additional messages. When an imported Amazon order is refunded in Shopify, Salestio will display a log message in the order view timeline:
Status update to Refunded was sent to Amazon
After a few minutes, another log message will appear to notify you if the update was successful.
Etsy Shop sections support
Etsy allows sellers to organize products into groups for shoppers to explore. If you have the groups configured in your Etsy store, Salestio can now support them for publishing products. Check the Etsy help article for configuring the shop sections on your account.
After the sections are configured on Etsy, they will become available to select in Selling List settings. Pick your section here:
Selection from the Etsy Shop Section field is applied when publishing new items or running the Update action from the Selling List.
Unified view of Selling Products
Our team has been working on the new Selling Products view. When using Selling Products view, there is no need to create Selling Lists. In this mode, products are presented in unified lists for each connected marketplace account.
In this mode, you can add listing information in two ways:
Specify it for individual products in the Listing Data section. This will apply only to the selected product.
Save it as Sync Rules that apply automatically based on condition matching (similar to how matching in Creation Profiles works). Salestio can use the data from Sync Rules for multiple products.
The new mode is currently in beta and will gradually become available for more users over time. To learn more about how it works, check out the documentation article. If you want to be the first to try it out in your store, please message the team at support@salest.io
Optimizations and improvements
Update QTY action will be started automatically after the products are synced from the Inventory page (quantity and price are updated for Etsy, only quantity is updated for Amazon/eBay).
Removed quantity limit for publishing Etsy listings.
"Send products with variations" option is now enabled in the "Default for Migrated..." Ebay Profile.
"Reset status" action can now be applied to pending statuses.
"Amazon log details" button hidden from certain pages.
Adjustments to eBay VAT number rounding in imported orders for more precision.
Improved Order processing for orders containing Shopify Bundles.
Custom requests
Salestio can now add the phone country code when it is not specified by the customer (based on the shipping address).
Additional packaging items can be automatically added to imported orders based on the ordered SKU.
If you need any of the above features for your store, please message the team at support@salest.io

Upcoming livestream
Stay tuned for our upcoming webinar on YouTube that will happen live on November 12:
During the livestream, we will go over the details about listing products on Etsy using Salestio. Come join us to learn more about Salestio and ask questions live!
Let's get into the Salestio news for this month:
Extended Amazon log details
Due to some specifics of the Amazon platform, we found that some published items can be missing from Seller Central even if successfully sent by Salestio and getting a Linked status. We added the option to send a request to Amazon and get expanded details on products like this. Using this option can reveal additional information (e.g., missing details on the product page).
To access the expanded logs, go to Selling List > find the specific item > click Logs > Amazon log details.
Processing Profiles support for Etsy
Etsy introduced the Processing Profiles several months ago. Using the new profiles is now required. The Readiness State is one of the required fields to send or update the products on Etsy, so you might see the following error when updating or listing products without a Processing Profile:
A readiness_state_id is required for physical listings
Our developers added the functionality to assign the Processing profiles in Salestio when sending or updating products to Etsy.
Once the Processing Profile is added to Etsy, please go to Salestio > Selling Lists. Click Edit to access the edit Selling List form. Scroll to the Etsy Processing Profile field and select the added Processing Profile.
To apply the Processing Profile to the existing listings, run the Update action instead of just Update QTY & Price. The Update action does the full update of the Etsy listings. So, the Creation profile should also be added.
As of August 29, 2025, packages entering the US are subject to import fees regardless of value. The specified country of manufacture is already being used to help buyers make informed purchasing decisions and is now critical for tariff calculation and managing listing visibility for US buyers. Listings may be hidden from US buyers if an item's country of manufacture is not provided.
Some fields for item specifics (found in the Creation Profile) are being renamed:
"Country of Origin" changed to "Materials sourced from". This field appears in Jewelry and Collectibles categories.
"Country/Region of Manufacture" changed to "Country of Origin".
Sellers who offer imports to the US should specify the country of origin for their listings to keep the items available to US customers. This requirement is in effect after October 16th.
For the Jewelry and Collectibles categories, the "Materials sourced from" field is also required for visibility in the US.
If your listings already had both specifics added, no further action is needed. The details will carry over with this change. For listings that are missing the mentioned specifics, we suggest adjusting the Creation Profile to add them. After making the necessary changes to the Creation Profile, update the eBay product information by running the Full Revise action in the Selling List.
Optimizations and improvements
Amazon India support. Adjust the account setting in Salestio > Accounts tab to include the new marketplace.
"Retry limit exceeded" error expanded with additional details.
Creation Profile: search for Shopify Collections now can process over 700 collections.
Adjusted VAT on the imported orders to include decimals.
Resolved the issue when the Etsy listing price is displayed incorrectly in Salestio Inventory.
New optional features: automatically subscribe customers to SMS or Email marketing in Shopify. Message the team at support@salest.io to enable.
During this webinar, we will go through the detailed steps on how to send Shopify products to eBay. Feel free to join and ask any questions in real-time!
Salestio Team is here with another portion of updates inside the app. This time, the efforts were focused on smaller improvements and fixes, but we have a couple of new features to present. If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can improve, send us an email to support@salest.io or submit your ideas to our roadmap.
We are introducing a new content type where you can learn more about the app and ask questions live. The upcoming webinar will cover the topic of how to send Shopify products to eBay and everything in between. Join this webinar on October 8th, 4 PM (Central European Time)
Creation Profiles for the Etsy integration now feature the option to use the native Shopify tags from the product page. Enable "Use tags from product" in the Creation Profile:
Using this option will disable the usual input field for tags and use all the tags added to Shopify instead.
Use the Shopify Country field in Creation Profiles
Creation Profiles for all integrations now support the Country field from the Shopify products. To select it, pick the "Product country code of origin" from the drop-down or directly enter the key [product_country_code_of_origin]. The new variable will return a country code as text (e.g., "HK", "DE").
Expanded support for KType fields
For sellers who have a large number of KTypes, Salestio now has another option to pass all of them to eBay.
When adding a metafield as KType, Salestio will detect if it contains any comma-separated values. Below is an example of an accepted KType metafield in Shopify:
["123, 456", "789", "012"]
Same as before, adding multiple metafields or directly adding values manually into different slots is still supported.
Optimizations and improvements
Improved performance when working with dynamic collections in Shopify.
Implemented an automatic retry action for Update Error status on Amazon listings.
Improved performance when running a "Send to Amazon" action on large product batches.
Fixed the error when publishing Amazon products with a required "Is dishwasher safe" field.

Automatic relist for finished eBay Auctions
The new option is disabled by default. To enable, change the settings in your Ebay Profile.
When an auction ends on eBay and Salestio receives the Finished status, the item in the Selling List will be automatically relisted.
SKU Mapping Editor in Salestio
Salestio features the option to set up SKU mappings for cases when the marketplace items have different SKUs from the Shopify store. Now we are introducing a way to set up the mappings without leaving the app. To map a Shopify item for any of the marketplaces, go to Salestio > Profiles > Sku mapping. It is possible to select a specific platform and account for each mapping, or leave it on for everything.
Salestio will use the saved mappings when linking existing listings for synchronization or importing orders.
Order ID customization for Amazon
For a while, the default appearance of Amazon order IDs included an "A-" preffix. We introduced the option to remove it in Salestio > Settings > Amazon account:
Other improvements
eBay Selling List - added option to filter by "Update Blocked" status.
Amazon - added a log message to indicate an inactive Seller Central account.
Amazon - added automatic retry action for certain linking errors.
Amazon/Etsy - added duplicate account prevention.
Amazon - added description template support. Configure in the Profiles tab and enable in Selling List settings.
Adjusted "QTY is null" order error to display the marketplace order ID for clarity.
We have been updating our Salestio — Multi‑store Sync app with improvements and new features, now with the option of two-way sync between the connected stores. Check it out on the Shopify App Store.
The team is also working on the Google Merchant integration in Salestio.

Updated Amazon integration for new API requirements
Amazon is retiring Listings Feeds and upgrading Listings API, which requires changes from the Salestio side. We have updated the app to use the new Listings API requirements and removed the deprecated ways that use XML feeds.
Salestio is already compatible with the new Listings API, so the migration will be completed without disrupting seller operations.
Etsy Description Template support
The Etsy integration has received support for Description Templates, similar to the current implementation for eBay.
Description Templates allow extending the information from the Shopify product description section with additional details like custom text, metafields, pictures, and more.
To add a custom template, go to Salestio > Profiles > Description Templates and click "Add Description Template". The editor offers plenty of tools to customize the look of your descriptions. Check the "Insert variable" option to add product-specific values (metafields, titles, pictures, and more).
After adding a template, make sure to select it in Selling List settings:
The template will be applied when a new product is listed. To change the description for an active listing, use "Update" from the quick actions.
Early testing of the alternative Selling List view
We are currently testing a new way for users to interact with the selling products. This mode will be available as an alternative to the Selling List view.
This mode combines the products from different platforms, marketplaces, and accounts into a single page. You can edit the creation data or price/quantity information directly from here.
Below is a preview of the new mode:
We would be happy to receive feedback on the new mode, so please feel free to reach out to the team to try it out. To get access to the combined Selling Lists mode, message the team at support@salest.io.
Option to add marketplace customers to marketing list
As a custom solution, we implemented the option to automatically mark new marketplace customers as "Subscribed to Marketing" in Shopify. This takes effect when Salestio creates a marketplace order with a new customer in Shopify.
If this is something that your store needs, please reach out to the team to enable the feature.
Other improvements
eBay Creation Profiles - Shopify Metafields can now be selected in multi-selection fields.
Description templates - Improved support for multiline Shopify Metafields. Line breaks can now be transferred to eBay listing pages.
eBay Selling Lists - improved reliability of Collection Mode in situations when new items are added to the Shopify collection based on having an image.

Shopify Bundles support for importing orders
The app now supports Bundle products from Shopify. Previously, you might have noticed the following error when the ordered item is a Shopify Bundle:
Line_items.variant_id cannot be a variant with components.
If your Shopify store features bundles, enable the new option in Salestio settings to import orders like this. Currently, the option applies only for importing marketplace orders to Shopify.
Updated metafiled settings
From now on, Salestio will not cache metafields in the store by default. To use Shopify metafields in Creation Profiles or other settings, enable it in Salestio > Settings tab.
In addition to this, the settings for Shopify metafields have an updated look:
Automatic retry action for update errors
Whenever an item in your Selling List encounters an error during an automatic update, Salestio will attempt it again. This can help in situations when some Shopify information was not cached to Salestio or there was a server error on the marketplace side.
To better keep track of errors in the Selling List, we recommend enabling email notifications in Salestio settings:
Other improvements
Receive "Canceled" order status updates from Etsy to Shopify.
(Creation Profile) The new eBay conditions can now be read from a Shopify metafield: "Pre-owned - Fair", "Pre-owned - Good", "Pre-owned - Excellent".
(eBay and Etsy integrations) Added auto-retry for items in "Update Error" status.
Show the Payment date and Dispatched date from eBay orders on the Shopify orders.
(Amazon integration) The shipping address will now include the company name if available.
Added duplicate prevention for eBay accounts. When the same account is being added for the second time, the app will skip it.
Updated the product counter on the Dashboard to show both cached products and total store products.
(eBay integration) Adjusted the behavior of the "Update Price" action when "Best offer"/"Auto accept" settings are configured. The price will be updated without using the "Full Revise" action.
We are continuing to develop and improve our recently released Product Import app and expanding it to work with the Etsy marketplace, along with more features. Check it out on the Shopify App Store and stay tuned for updates!
We are also looking into integrating Google Merchant Center with Salestio.

Salestio Team is here with another portion of updates inside the app. In today's announcement, we are happy to share the improvements, fixes, and custom requests.
If you have any ideas or suggestions on how we can improve, send us an email to support@salest.io or submit your ideas to our roadmap
Support for multi-selection fields in Amazon Creation Profiles
Amazon allows adding multiple options to fields like "Target Audience Keyword", "Special Features", "Theme", etc. Salestio now allows users to take full advantage of this feature and use all possible fields. Click "Add X Item" below the field to add more options:
Support for Amazon Shipping Templates
Amazon sellers have the option to customize transit time and shipping fees for their items in a Shipping Template directly in Seller Central. Salestio added the option to assign a specific Shipping Template from the connected Amazon account.
To assign a template, go to Salestio > Profiles > Amazon Profiles and pick the target profile from the list. Keep in mind that Shipping Template selection is available only in single marketplace mode. After selecting the marketplace, a "Shipping Template" option will appear at the bottom.
If any Shipping Templates were configured on Amazon, they will appear in the list. Select one and save the profile. This setting will be used when a new product is sent to Amazon.
To make sure that the settings apply to the items, go to Salestio > Selling Lists and select this Amazon Profile in the respective section.
Implemented custom request
Some users prefer to store ASINs in Shopify metafields. To save time for sellers with this kind of setup, we added the option to use a chosen metafield as an ASIN in Salestio Selling Lists. With the new feature, the app will automatically add the selected metafield to each product in Salestio. If this option is useful for your store, please reach out to the team at support@salest.io to enable it.
The default way to add ASINs is through the Selling List UI by clicking the "Add ASIN" button. Check our blog post for a refresher on using ASINs in Salestio.
Other improvements
Etsy Selling List settings — any weight and dimensions values can be cleared from the settings.
Improved app behavior for creating eBay auctions without a "Buy Now" price.
Adjusted behavior for stopping eBay products in "Update Error" status. Now the listings are automatically stopped when removed from the Selling List.
Increased the maximum file size for SKU mappings to 10 MB.
Added the option to move Etsy customization details from Additional details to Notes on the Shopify order. Please reach out to the team to enable the feature.
Improved order importing from Etsy to prevent cases with missing customer names.
Added timezone display to the "Ship by"/"Deliver by" deadlines on imported Amazon orders.
We are continuing to develop and improve our recently released Salestio — Multi‑store Sync app; check it out on the Shopify App Store.
The team is also working on improving the flow of Amazon items in error statuses. This should help in cases when the issue is resolved outside of Salestio, so the item can be linked automatically.
2
Automatic linking of the products in the Error status
As I user, I would like to get the products automatically tried and synced when the products are in Linking Error or Update Error statuses.
It can be useful for the case when products get eventually created on Amazon by other brands. Or when EAN is added to the Shopify fields.
It would be great if the app could try syncing such products once a day or so.
